Jets QB Nick Sanchez is expected to be available for the start of the regular season after being sidelined for a second consecutive game with an injury.
The New York Jets quarterback, who was sidelined for the past six weeks, did not practice Thursday.
He missed the team’s Week 9 bye and two weeks of training camp.
Sanchez was on the sideline in Week 6 when he injured his shoulder.
He is the second quarterback off the roster the Jets have lost in the past week.
They lost Brandon Bridge to a knee injury.
